would wear it everyday if she could! The quality of the dress is great and seems quite comfortable. The bodice is velvety and a little stretchy. I bought a size small (4-6). My daughter is tall for her age and quite slim. She needs to wear a belt so that i can hitch the dress up, but i'd rather it be a little big than too small. She will easily get a few years worth of wear with this costume. I like that it looks quite different to the other ariel costumes around. The only negative thing i would say if pushed is that the velcro tab that closes the top of the back of the dress is small and may not last long. However I could easily replace this with a stronger velcro tab or button
