Purim marks salvation of Jews from Haman thanks to Queen Ester and her cousin Mordecai. Fathers read from the Book of Ester, retelling the story and everyone has a wonderful celebration.

Purim is a joyous holiday on the Jewish calendar. It is typically observed by the orthodox sects and involves parties, food, drink and a good time for all. Part of the tradition is for kids to wear costumes and instead of going door-to-door for candy it is the opposite. They go from house to house giving food and other goodies to neighbors and friends. This practice is called "shalach manos." In order to participate in shalach manos, kids need Purim costumes. Purim costumes are mainly for children but adults are welcome to dress up too. Our boy's Purim costumes featured here are allowable to wear in the most orthodox communities and come in a child's small, medium and large.
