The costume is very cute and fits our needs. The yarn on the hat is not as full as it looks in the picture. It isn't even close looking the same and the design of the hat is a bit different as well. If you really want an authentic long haired look I would purchase an additional wig. It has maybe 8 strands of yarn on either side. It is slightly big on my son who will be 4 in a few months although he is on the smaller side. He currently wears 3T clothing and these pants were long and a bit loose. The material is very thin and there is a big slit in the back of the shirt so wearing clothes underneath is a must. I don't mind the thin material since we are in the South but people with real fall weather will just have to wear thicker clothing under it. Over all a great purchase.
